    The big picture

Thanks asheanmt for posting this in the main forum. So great it needs it's own thread here.

Here is another link. It is actually the big picture. It might take a while to load since it's so large.

even more interesting. this below is a gif i just created from the next 384 hours forecast for precipitation probability of 2mm or more. note how at the end of the cycle the model kind of breaks up and becomes incoherent. still, though, it shows the big one passing off to the south:

Who are you talking to? Nobody has said anything, we're just posting radar mosaics. Don't be so paranoid, schizo. Nice graphs.

well, if these are the same graphs our local tv weather personality uses then they mean nothing. that fuckers never right.

I watch these damn maps every day. I was soooo fucking stoked to see the recent change in which these systems moving out of Japan were coming straight for us instead of over us. Looks like its following the same pattern as last year. Nothing but snow and freezing temps in the forecast from late Monday on though the rest of the week.

The family quiver has been waxed multiple times....
Ash's new skins are cut and her new BD boots are due to arrive any day now.....
Backpack is packed and ready to go......
Beacons have fresh batteries and are in good working order........

Its so close I can taste it!

really, that's great news! I have been taking a break from those maps for a while now...thinking that my constantly checking them was affecting the flow. From my observations last yr, it seemed like when those storms started rolling in from Siberia was when we really got wallopped.
Did your wife get the BD Shiva's by chance. I'm interested in a review if that's the case.
