    Ski Chair

.I've built a few before but when people asked me for details I never had any pics...this was built as a wedding present for two friends.....dimensions are seat of the pants!

Testing on the deck at the Marmatons Bar.

Construction is skis+snowboard...a few wood screws because not all the junk ski had binders...if all junk skis came with binders then no aditional screws are needed

Did those 2 in the chair end up getting married?

Nicely engineered. First time I saw a 2 seater all in skis. Seen snowboards used the long way on the seat.

Hey, season closing down for me. Anything happening over Cham-way over the next week or two? If not, I may retire my skis for the season.

Tried 2 sms your natel/cell. No response. Taken away from you?
Your yahoo account is full or shut down? Bounced my message back. Wanted to know if you have a day off this week to hit Avoriaz. May go tomorrow (Weds.)

Awesome man, any chance you have some more detailed pictures/info on the leg connections? I've been working on my own set of chairs, but can't figure out how I'm going to connect the legs.
When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back. GET MAD! I DON'T WANT YOUR DAMN LEMONS! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE?! DEMAND TO SEE LIFE'S MANAGER! Make life RUE the day it thought it could give YOU LEMONS! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I'M THE MAN WHO'S GONNA BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN! WITH THE LEMONS! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that's gonna BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN!

I don't like the fact that the cupholder is left hand drive.

The couple are dedicated to living in Chamonix and not returning to the UK, hence not a right hooker.

Cool chair, looks like you might have to be a little careful when it warms up and you are wearing shorts and t-shirts.

It could give new meaning to the term "catching an edge"
...I ski, not because I regard skiing as being so terribly important but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly so much fun.

Look more closely, the legs are just screwed to the crossmember (the bit that goes across) and the arm rests....there are 2 crosmembers under the seating area and two under the back, there are also 4 stabalizing bits at the bottom....if you can't see well enough PM me your e and I'll send you the full res pics.....don't think Biglines would like me posting 2.7mb files!

Next time I would mount the seat surface with tips up to play ball catcher.
