Search...
But I love mine. Very durable, though I need to get new pads this year... Pads are thin, but that's what you get when it's designed to hug your anatomy / protect from twisting.
Use 'em for skiing, mountain biking, etc. They've held up wonderfully. Also, the hard-shell kneecap cups are great for tele-ing.

My left knee had...well...everything get fucked up. Bad.
I think I'm going to get them, does the 500 - 700 dollar cost cover one or a pair? And with my surgery / knee condition, any chance insurance can cover them, or partially at least?

I got 'em the first season... when they were only marketed to moto-x. Had 'em for three seasons, now - I paid $349.
Insurance does NOT cover these, as they don't require a mold/measurements of your leg by a doctor to make. You adjust 'em.

Well, I DO have a pair of Edge CTII carbon knee braces for sale, one brand new (Left) and one used (right, duh) If you are interested, google em', they are really, really nice. $350 for the brand new one, $450 for both. (sorry, prices have gone up!)

Question on these. How "low-profile" are they? Stick pretty close to the knee or are they noticeable under snowpants that aren't XXL g-unit?

not bad
tried a pair on the other day. Seem pretty quality yet they wanted 600 for them...
I want a pair...
restrictive? not really.
My buddy say they wont prevent an acl blow etc... yet I feel that if i fall, then bounce or roll into something... they'd save me...

^^^^Are you sure ? I thought saving your tendons and ligaments was the point of such a bulky/expensive brace. If it doesnt at least substantially reduce the liklihood of meniscus/acl/mcl damage there would be no reason to buy
