Wow. That was definitely sobering and tough to watch, but a lot to learn from it as well.

Thanks for the post, definitely going to be a lot more cautious in the backcountry. Really liked Sam's comments about how if one member of the group doesn't feel good about the conditions then the group wont ski it. Feel like that could get dicey in some groups but it isn't worth the extra turns. The title really gets to you at the end, makes me rethink the times i've climbed up for a couple extra turns
