uhm yeah, about that..... today eastwall, first run all year there, 2nd notch looked good to go. Down climb in with pretty good snow, ie, no rock moves, just kicking steps for the first 1 foot wide, 10 foot long 65 deg. entrance. Started to kick out a platform to put skis on, lost my footing, slide 1/2 of the whole line, broken thumb, messed up elbow, tagged some rocks. Friends freaked out, no good. Climbed back up put skis on, started skiing and booted out for no aparent reason, 3 cartwheels before I got it back. Damn, but I am not gonna wait till next year, its on for sat.
