I think youre doing it wrong

You asked why you wouldn't be able to access the same runs with a chair lift that runs halfway up the mountain as opposed to one that runs from top to bottom...... Am I missing something???

Macdaddy the problem isn't where it unloads, it unloads in basically the same spot. The problem is the lift starts halfway up the mountain.

and at least before vertigo and paradise stayed somewhat untracked, with the new lift Im sure you wont want to be skiing a tracked up wide open 30 degree bowl all day... or maybe you will.

I guess... but the old powderhorn you could ski the cirque, milkrun, terror chute/parachute ect as well as vertigo and the frontside. All way better runs than lapping vertigo.... The front side is...

Ummm could you explain to the rest of us how you plan to accomplish this? Its seven minutes from the bottom of garys glade to the top of powderhorn... you still need to take a 4 minute ride up MB or...

Top of apex is the windiest spot on the mountain and apex is regularly on windholds on storm days so thats one reason they didnt make a midway unloading station there.... That and they had the old...

I think its a horrible idea too and not sure how people like the owners of solitude ever get money.... seems they are always making short sighted fixes which they just have to redo 5 years later...

Im pretty sure season passes allow you to park at the pay parking... not 100% on that though
