Hit up Buck Saturday 7.2.11. Amazingly, no one else up there. Saw a pair heading to Static. Buttery smooth at about 9:00am and we were still able to ski pretty far down Stewart's Draw.

If avy danger is high that probably means it dumped the night before and the guide will get you more tram laps (and more untracked snow) than your legs can handle. Still worth it on the right day...

Late day untracked Spock chute completed and darn fine day at the village today. Glad so many folks were out having fun but still avoided my favorite line.

Just curious for those skiing the pass today; (and I probably would have been had I been free so I'm not pointing fingers) Does "High" avalanche danger now mean "Go For It!"
