Heather closed almost an hr. early because of loading on E facing aspects. There was also a fairly large avalanche towards the top of white river last weekend I believe on sunday.

if the wind is coming down the line the lifts can run in stronger than 40mph winds/gusts and do regularly, but at the same time if those same wind speeds hit the chair are a 90* angle you now get...

First you must be a complete idiot and for the rest of you it has zero to do with wind speed shutting down lifts, only thing that matters is what direction it is coming from.

I have put about 30 days on my bgs this season and they are my most favorite all around ski. The only time is wish i was on something different is when i'm skiing 100% groomers or icy situation, but...
