I had some STH 14s mounted to a small MFD plate - my BSL is 319 mm and the guys at MFD told me to go with the small/medium plate (318 mm advertised length) because they save a mm or two for these...

Nice skis...Mike mounted them on my Night Trains today and did a great job! He was super detailed and asked me all the questions he needed to ask. He did use the template on mine so I would recommend...

I'm in the same boat as OP. nickel, can you say from experience that the swing weight seems unaffected? One of my only concerns with the MFD plates is that they may affect swing weight in tight trees...

That is correct. The video I took of my friend came out terrible because of the glare. My drop was maybe 15 feet. He sent the big guy which was skier's right of my line.

If you'd like to look it up, that cliff has been measured at about 25 feet top to bottom. If you straight line it like my friend did you can easily catch 10+ more feet of air because your landing...

He probably didn't hear your call out but that's pretty funny...and he told me before hitting the cliff he had a tough time seeing the takeoff because he was kicking up so much sluff. I was so pumped...

Yeah especially at Tucks. Its hard to capture how steep it is... And how gnarly that icefall cliff is. Many hard crashes on that over the years.
