Update from the Riv: maybe 8" with rain crust on top. Patrollers said it was 22 deg and pouring rain this morning. Damn.

Pulling into the Rivah lot now, light non-snow misting at the moment. Looks like it could be good though.

2nd Mate and I are carpooling to the Rivah tomorrow... anyone else gonna be there? Rog?

Hmmm, maybe. I was thinking of hitting up Sunday Rivah on Thursday... buying a ticket in advance online is "only" $63. Seems that SR has more spread out terrain that may take longer to get thrashed...

MTB ride today in MA, couldn't get any touring plans made in time last night. Kinda bummed how this storm has petered out for tomorrow.

Haha, that reminds me of one of the best days I've had on skis... MRG storm skiing, forgot my ski pants and skied all day in Adidas warm up pants, soaked to the bone but such great skiing, drove home...

Steaux was fun today - snowed all day, crowds were mostly in the lodge, woods are filling in. Hit some surprises, but also had some pretty deep turns. Tomorrow should be good - it's still coming down!

This. However, why not go to Sunapee? More coverage, more vert, still pretty close, and more in the storm track. Just a thought.

Awesome! Glad the upslope pulled through last night. Figures though, that I drove up to ski on the ONE day this week that it wasn't powtastic. Oh well. Next week is looking prime!

Update from Madonna summit: 2" of dust on some serious rain crust. Hope it keeps snowing and this next week might be really good.

Heading out for dawn patrol from TC's place. Dumping fat flakes even in the valley. Could be good.
