I am 14 months out from a Type VI TPF, meniscus and fib break and I still cant walk up stairs normally without pain. it takes time. just count on getting better a little each day.

^^having been there a few times, I think 115-125 is the perfect width WITH some sidecut. you are aren't necessarily skiing blower and you definitely want to be able to grab an edge when you need it....

he talked about this in his old blog on the 4frnt site (which now gone)....with the renegade he keeps his body more square down the fall line and engages turns more with his ankles, almost swiveling...

neutral stance, keep em on edge and trust them to make big lazy GS turns. I found them surprsingly grippy. Obviously letting them run flat is more squirrelly than a traditional ski.

also bummed about the radius...was hoping they would keep the atlas radius.

I wouldnt worry about it...You won't notice it.
