YUP!!! Very sick edit, well done. It's been pretty damn all time this last little while.
That's f'in great. Glad to see people bringing their game face to the game of g.n.a.r. Good work.
Still beats a day in the office.
Anybody looking to run some slackcountry laps tomorrow?? Likely going to be up around there, possibly looking for some other people to head out with. Let me know. E-mail is best mrocksmith at...
I missed all the weekend stoke contribution, but mine echoes what everybody else was saying anyway. Whistler, was mostly un crowded for the most part (by weekend standards). McC's was tits deep,...
Hmmm... Ya I guess it's not that bad up there right now....................
Will be up tomorrow for whoever wants to get in on some laps. mrocksmith at gmail.com
Geeeez... That just sounds terrible............ fml
Who's heading up for the weekend?
So... there's problems in the backcountry, and it's becoming more and more popular to head out there, these things will iron out over time, not to worry at the moment. I'm sure we will see...
Ya, Decker is on my to-do list. Hopefully in the next few weeks here, if things line up right. Where is 19th with respect to 9th?

Really?? Guess it improved nicely since Saturday then. I found it had a bit of a wind affected layer near the top, after that it was just deep perfection. Beautiful.
eeeeesh. That fissile one looks scary. Close to home for lots of us too. Pretty thick crown on it. Glad nobody was taken down with it.
Is some of that instability due to the sun pounding on those...
Sick sick vid man. Glad it turned out, and stoked to watch it. Makes me want to try it next time. Good day though, and we'll have to catch up again soon. You can show me the rope line.
Heading up in about 6 hours here. See you all there, hopefully I can still scrape up some goods. I'm looking to hit up some touring, if anyone can meet up, e-mail me your phone numbers, I'll likely...

This is an official calling for any job openings currently in Whistler. Enough of this teasing, I'm ready to move now! Motivated...
That's a creepy thing to report. I could totally see that being a tough one to ski away from, geeez. In conditions like that though, and not having any sort of touring gear, you'd be hard pressed to...
This whole work Mon-Fri thing is really eating away at my soul.
I guess incessantly coming back to this "stoke" thread isn't helping either.
Yup, I definitely second these thoughts. Definitely one of the better zones for that day. We were throwing down hero laps through Million Dollar, Khyber, McConkey's all day. Great times.
That depends entirely on what club it is... It could be an amazing idea.
Picture of this gem???
I hear ya... I need to get out more and learn the ropes of the terrain out there. care to share???
@Lani.... That slide photo is nuts!!! Holy crap that would have been a spectacle and a half....
Oh man... you've got me itching even more for this.
I'll make it happen.
Yellow Arc Teryx jacket, black G10 MX, and Elan Boomerangs, oh and green scott poles with big orange baskets, can't be...
I'm going to pull every string I can to try and get up there for Friday. These conditions just can't be passed up. Will advise on my success or failure.
Is that a teletubbie head piece on the one monoskier there!!??
Gapers!!!
Eeeeesh, sounds dicey. Glad I stuck to bcomb this weekend.
Looks like there should be some good snowfall this week though, lets hope forecasts hold up, and the white stuff keeps coming.

S7's is the quivalent of the Cove Shocker in the bike park circa 1 or 2 summers ago. Oh, and 90% of the time with a rock shox boxxer on the front.
As far as stoke goes... CANNOT wait for this...
If you pop into the Prior factory http://www.priorskis.com in function junction (just south of creekside) I think they often have demo skis people can take out, not entirely sure. Worth a shot either...
Ya, I agree... This is a best case scenario for sure. It's deceiving, cause you think all this snow has fallen, but there's still a lot of holes, and lack of coverage out there. Need some filling in...
Yeah, that makes sense. That area was good indeed. I had some great laps down gun barrels. Was relatively un-touched.
Had a good day up there on Sunday though, some good laps from hiking up towards the peak, and a wicked early morning lap over to gun barrels that was better than I was expecting.
Are there any more lifts opening up this weekend? How does patrol feel about safety in the alpine? Sunday might be some good breaks in the visibility.
Damn... Kicking myself right now. Looks like it worked out a lot better than was anticipating, but this sort of thing always happens. The winter is still long, looking forward to some future blower...
The tempory boundary is the only time when you can get away with skiing the weekend chutes... provided snow conditions call for it.
