I definitely prefer the bird too but I must admit that Alta seems to stay more untracked--but only because it has a ton of flat spots that make accessing the goods more difficult.

Bumping an old thread...but I finally got my hands on some Prophet 186s, mounted them up with Dukes, and I'm taking them out to Snowbird tomorrow for the first time. Wish me luck. I'll report back.

I agree. I ski at Snowbird and gets really annoying--not to mention inefficient--to have to pull out your pass every time. The RFID setup at Alta is definitely a lot nicer.

I got some frostnip/early frostbite early in February this year at Snowbird. I didn't even realize how cold I had gotten. The lift operator on Little Cloud had to tell me to go inside and warm up...
