I agree that it's confusing. Unless the seat tube was angled the opposite way, it still seems like the higher you put it, the farther back towards the rear wheel you are moving. that's just geometry.

made something like that in college, but it was more like a trike, with 2 skis on the back. It was tons of fun and super dangerous.

also FWIW, I don't think formulas stock pads are very good. You can get kool-stop or other aftermarket pads that will fit, that work better, that are half the cost of formulas.

anything by 1 groups are only good if you have stupid big gearing in the back (xx1) or you live somewhere with no large sustained climbs.

yep, you can get a 10mm internal spacer that lowers it to 100 mm. Geometry should be the same as it is now a 100mm fork.
