Good snow in there right now, 2-3 miles walk and then the skis can stay on to the top of the Russell Glacier.

That's a pretty sweet trip from Fish Lake to I90. How much of it were you guys able to stay above snow line on?

And yeah, I won't go back to Gold Creek without a lot of snow.

I'd go for it- it's snowed ~7-8" so far up there today and it's easy access from the airport. IF there's no freezing rain later tonight and the east winds hold it should be pretty good on the top...
