For you CNY folks. I skied at Lab for a few hours last night. The new snow(maybe 6") was heavy and crusty but still fun. It was enough to take any ice out of play and it made the bumps etc plenty...

I'll find out in a few hours, but since I live only 10 miles north of lab and had only about 3" there... my expectations are fairly low.

Wow. This storm resulted in a mere 3" of heavy crusty snow in Syracuse. My schedule will not allow me to chase the snow anytime soon. What a bummer.

It was really stupid what I did.

Not cures. You can get the gas if you try hard enough, and rain is only a minor set-back until it melts ALL of the snow. Skiing in the rain is good for you.

Lab is the best place to ski in the area. I'll be skiing/coaching there most weeknights. Togg is boring and the management at Song has ruined the place. I'll be skiing Magic on the weekends this...
