Bump for a couple updates
I'd prefer to sell them together for now unless someone wants skis only, since they probably won't take another set of holes.
My car needs some repairs and I have too much gear lying around not being used, so here it is for sale! I think the prices are fair but feel free to let me know if I'm off the mark. Would prefer...
Whistler's forecast may suck, but it looks like it's about to go off south of the border: http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/dynamic/van?over=none&symbols=snow&type=snow.next3to6days
I've got a set of yellow 20din 977s in my closet somewhere. $50 plus shipping.
Daaaaaaammmmnnnnniiiiiitttttt.
So that's what I missed this weekend.
The camera, courtesy of the dumbest URL around: http://www.yellowbirdsdonthavewingsbuttheyflytomakeyouexperiencea3dreality.com/
Looks like it's 6 cameras with the images stitched together, on the...
Been a while since I've been round these parts. Searched but didn't see this posted here. Mostly mellow park snowboarding, but the filming concept is pretty cool. Click and drag around :D

What I don't get is why they still don't have any pictures of the real thing - just that CAD drawing...

FKS 120 toes are most definitely NOT metal. I had a pair that were chipped all over and it was all plastic underneath. The heels were metal though.
Was that you in Fanatyk co a couple hours ago?
People seem to have pretty good luck with Intuition liners for reducing shin bang. Any other reason why you'd want a 3-piece boot in particular?
Worthless without pics :nonono2:
Yeah I'm jealous.
We finally got a bit of snow in the middle of exam period, so I took a break from studying and went for a walk. Just thought I'd share a few photos from around UBC.

Nice, that was one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen. The whole time I was wishing that I had my camera handy.
Well I suppose that looks OK.
Certainly better than anything I did today
^Agreed. Didn't he have a website/blog somewhere?
Edit: http://www.theandycampbell.com/1/Welcome.html
Now that is a page full of stoke. Blog hasn't been updated since Feb...
Yes.

Brad Turner, the trumpet/keyboard player for Metalwood is a local Vancouver musician, check him out if you can.
Whoa, cool to see so many people into jazz here. Here's some of what I've been listening to at the moment:
Chris Potter - Song for Anyone, Follow the Red Line
Alex Sipiagin - Hindsight
Bob...
I just "oooohhh"ed out loud. That was awesome.
Wow. This guy right here is just a little bit jealous.
Damn dude, you should've posted this Saturday. We had one in our set of samples for $299 but it sold on the weekend...
957 Equipes were all-metal, including the toes. Pretty sure that was the only true all-metal 14 din they made.
Same. Should be some epic stashes by the end of the month. Oh, and there are a few girls participating with the knee 'stash
That's It That's All
Technically not a ski movie, and there is quite a bit of jibby snowboarding stuff, but the amazing cinematography totally makes it worthwhile. I'm not at all into the jibby...
Four assignments done for the week, midterm thursday morning, hell yes I'll be ready for a good time.
Hells yeah.
That was good.
'Cause DS has a perma-boner for turntables.
I've got FKS on my 195 Praxis, makes for a pretty light setup for the size, with low swing weight. Haven't had any problems with torsional stiffness,...
Damnit. Anyone know if this will work for Canadians or what they use to verify US residency? I have a US mailing address....
Nice shots! The sunset view over the water from up there never gets old.
Hook 'em on your spokes while you work the next lever under the tire.
Like the SAC notifier :frown:
Holy shit. Took them a short while to get warmed up, but that was an amazing show. They played Spain during the encore as well; really cool to see them just call a tune and figure it out on the fly....
Bump for the Vancouver show tonight. Sooo stoked! Anyone else going to be there?
Nice one Lee. That looks a whole lot different now compared to 2 weeks ago. Still skiable all the way to the bottom? I think I might have one more left in me if the sun decides to come out.
This is pretty much exactly what I'm thinking. Just pedaling it around the neighbourhood, it was the same smooth, go anywhere, do anything sensation as clicking into a pair of fat skis for the first...
I've ridden bikes since I was a little kid (basically around town/flat trails etc), but haven't ever really gotten into real downhill mountain biking. This summer I want to get into it and have been...
Would love to Lee, but I'm going to see Rush tomorrow night!
The lack of skiing in the last while has had me itching to get on the snow, but with only a few chairs open at the top of Blackcomb, I've had pretty much no motivation to make the drive all the way...
The track TGR blog
This is the one he's talking about...

Yeah that would've been me, was skiing with grapedrink for most of the day.
Found pictures: Looks like the STH14 is a STH16 with a lower spring, and Z14 is a Z12 with a higher spring.
...
True for the 12 dins, but the STH14 should be a lower spring version of the 16 - ie adjustable toe, worm screw heel.
Faceshots on chainsaw at 3:30pm... today was unreal.
Huh. A quick google brings up the Sandy Beaver Awards
Man do I really not feel like studying right now.
Edit: Also a sports team called the Big Sandy Beavers

Nice TR, but could you please add some more emoticons?
iPhoto sucks balls, I couldn't stand the way it sorts everything either. I just organize my photos by hand into folders, and edit in Gimp (I'm a total editing JONG, but it's free!)
