Anybody know of good smoking huts at Stevens or Alpy? I know there is a cave like feature to the skiers left off tye mill, but that's not the most convenient location.

I fell into one snowboarding on Wednesday at Stevens, good thing it was only 3 feet of light snow/2 inches of water and I could push myself away from the old rain crust. Needless to say I stayed away...

Yea Alpy lines get quite long on powder days. I haven't been there on a weekend pow day yet.

The lift lines were annoying today, but getting freshies at both 7th and the backside was worth it.

Today was epic. I don't think I had to stand in line longer than for a minute or two though.

So true, last year was my first year here and I went to Alpental 5 or 6 times on Tuesdays and by the end of year I started recognizing a lot of faces.

Well they are returning cinco de mayo this year, so that's good. They also opened all the lifts at West today, so can't really complain. Stevens on other hand wasn't doing work today.

Well I mean "real" non-bunny hill chairs. I thought that Stevens would run their quad and would make my Saturday choice really obvious, but they don't think 2 1/2 feet is enough. Crystal is happy...

Looks like stevens is opening one double chairlift this Saturday, and Summit is opening a quad. I hope going to Summit is the right call.
