From appearances it seems less complicated than the beast, especially at the heel.

Could be the single binding solution many are seeking....
01-09-2013, 09:18 PM
The Spatula certainly had more weight underfoot than at the tips & tails.
Perhaps DPS' solution only applies to stabilizing a low mass ski.

Can you contrast the non-early rise FX94 w/ the newer version?
Did you get a chance to demo the FX104?

12-23-2012, 07:04 PM
This is a sweet pair of skis; can't use them due to a nagging injury.

The Plums have sold
I have done this with the older Laser to good effect, don't know about the MR.
In any event, I have what you want. For a reasonable price.
Shoot me a PM
Plum Guide, 2011-2012 model, NIB. Unused, perfect, etc.
Injury forces sale.
PM for details
I have two pair of older #6 tongues, and one pair of all-yellow tongues (#8?) sitting around, if anyone wants them.
Yours for the cost of shipping. PM me and I can send pictures.

There is one person at Lombardis who has perfectly mounted many pairs for me, but he now is the ski/snowboard manager, so don't know how much time he spends in the back shop. PM me and I will give...

Can soon please be soon?
This looks ready. Really not understanding why Salomon is holding back for another season. I appreciate that they want to work out any issues before bringing it to market, but aside from the plastic...
This thing looks production-ready to me; what is the hold up?
Did you happen to ski the 112RP Pure as well?
10-03-2011, 09:28 PM
So what would be the minimum product run to produce an FKS specific plate that screws into Dynafit patterned inserts?
10-02-2011, 11:04 PM
Agree with this problem..... but Dynafit flat on the ski/FKS plate that mounts into Dyna holes is really appealing.
And you mention that you are not in favor of hybrid insert/plate systems, but...
These are the finalists for my new area/sidecountry boards. Anybody here skied both, and care to comment?

Yessir. Me Three
I went from a 27.5 Krypton, 317mm BSL to a 28.5 Full Tilt, 318mm BSL.
Krypton was a bit tight on my larger foot, Full Tilt is just right.
I am sold on the Hadleys but wish they only cost as much as the Hopes!
Hey Marshal, did you get my PM about the Plum Guides?
Just sold a pair for $400, no takers at $450.
Watched two auctions on ebay; one went at $400, one at $418
02-27-2011, 11:32 AM
Got it. Since I have another Dynafit setup, will use those IF I get back on skis this season.
So let's do a final price drop; $400 shipped, fair enough?
02-26-2011, 10:18 PM
Saw a pair of FT12/92mm brakes with 10-20 days use; $370.
Another, NIB w/out the plates for $440 shipped on January 16 that sold.
Backcountry currently has them for $522 w/out...

Show me the thread; tried search & could not find it.

Bump for price drop.

Injury forces sale; won't be using these this season.
New in box, never mounted. Dark color. Includes Dynafit "Powerplates" which I recently purchased.
$485; buyer pays shipping.
And if you dial the RV down to the lowest setting, there is less tension on the pins, which makes putting it back together much easier.
If you do this and remove the top plate very gently,...
I ordered a pair of the longer cones for some Comfort heels. Super well made.
01-27-2011, 09:00 PM
Is this to be a touring setup, or will you be hiking for turns?
Does this binding have a fixed RV?
I have no experience with this type of tech binding; does the heel rotate?
Any word on a stiffer tongue for the Maestrale?
I know. It is only a matter of time.
Shoot me a PM when you get a chance; would love to know what you guys can do on these.
12-23-2010, 05:25 PM
Jondrums, I think you need to design and fabricate one of these!
Just quit your day job and make ski gear.
Just spent a short day on these at Blackcomb. Amazing ski. Super easy to turn; floated easily.
The feel of the ski is what struck me: it is thinner in construction and has a smooth round flex...

And which book would this be?
12-15-2010, 08:54 PM
And just how did you break your skis?
Spandy, could you post a photo looking straight-on at the back of the boot? I want to see where & how you attached the hasp.
12-11-2010, 07:41 PM
Did a boot try-on session today.
-Maestrale for the second time: I really wanted to get this boot, and while the lateral support seems there. It is WAY too soft forward for the way I ski. Too bad....
Alka, how much does it weigh?
Am looking for an all-round AT/mtneering board, and while the Manaslu is lighter, am thinking that the Stoke will be more versatile in general, and more solid in hard snow.
I would be on a 187...

So this Pegasus is a stiffer version of the Maestrale? Has anyone skied in both to compare?
Euro only? My Scarpa NA catalog shows no such boot.
11-30-2010, 09:43 PM
My take, based on an in-store try on, is that the design is almost perfect. The walkability, fit, & heel hold down, are the best I have ever experienced.
A bit more material in the...

Lee, is anyone from Scarpa following this thread....?
11-28-2010, 11:14 PM
Skis and bindings are in excellent condition, 15 days use. Bases perfect; no core shots.
186 cm, 123-91-111
$375, shipping not included
Anyone not happy with the extra height of the plate + Duke?
That Duke by itself leaves ya standing tall off the ski....
11-23-2010, 11:28 PM
186 Stockli Scot Schmidt, 123-91-111, mounted with Rossi 120 Axial Ti.
Great pair. Bases perfect.
