We were getting around 7 inches an hour here at 46 out of Valdez. It kept up for 2 days and I thought I might get stuck inside my bus. It's snowing again today.....

Turnagain is beautiful, and is also probably the most toured area in Ak. Approaches are easy as pie like Loon said.

Valdez and Haines were great last season at that time of year.

I'll be living in a bus in Valdez this winter, I'm going to claim ski bum status on that one.

Last season in White Pass near Skagway we climbed a couloir that had....difficult snow conditions. The top of the couloir was measured at 70 degrees. I would've killed for a pair of verts then.
