in the end of January, I saw ski patrol bringing a guy down off those cliffs with ropes.. It looked like he was hurt, but I asked them later and they said that he just froze up, and was to scared too...

permit season is June 15th through October 15th, and the lottery has already happened. You can enter for the day, but not camp without a permit

it happens... but we have some pretty accessible glaciers that can be skied all year long....

lots of rain=lots of precipitation=lots of snow, or lots of rain.. it depends on the year.. of course...

you get use to the rain.. You just have to keep your gortex quiver well stocked and in good repair and remind yourself that the rain makes it beautiful...

and people are good here in the PNW...
