Any idea on weight? Just out of curiosity…
Merci pour l’info Gweilo !
I pulled the trigger on a pair of 21/22 R11’s and just received them today. On my kitchen scale they are ~ 2335 each! This is a nice surprise and while they are...
That’s the 2nd time I’ve read that the Rustler is a better carver - surprises me a bit given my time on other enforcers.
Would it be fair to say the Rustler floats better, but the Enforcer is...
[QUOTE=Bandit Man;6735618]Own the Enforcer Pro/115 (191) and Rustler 11 (green and orange models), but only in the 188. The Blister review of the Pro/115 is pretty accurate IMO. It’s more damp (w/2...
[QUOTE=whyturn;6735161]No but if you have an enforcer then I can give you a comparison.
The rustler 11 is extremely versatile and carves better than any 115 I’ve ever been on. It’s all...
Anyone skied both the R11 192 cm and the Enforcer 115?
I have had mine for a few days now so thought i'd chime in. I'm 5'9" / 145lbs / do not ski switch. Got the 192 and mounted them with Shifts at -3 from recommended. Boot: Lupo FCR 26.5 fwiw.
So far...
Qst99 or 106?
ya i get it its just that i have never experienced it myself. I am sure the day i do i will be wishing i had crampons in my pack as well :)
my thought exactly...
Am also considering the 192 and mounting further back....but also quite interested in the Spur with shifts. Its heavier, but a directional ski and Im too old to ski assforward so if anyone has skied...
Can anyone comment of the Lupo Carbon ti vs the hawx?
Nice looking bike farmguy! I used to ride a 2011 BMC SL01 Roadracer and it was a great bike, but i couldn't fit anything larger than a 25mm Michelin Pro4 endurance tire on it (stretched to 28mm after...
Keepin it real in the US of A.
Mine are the same. Takes some force to get into. I wouldnt be surprised if a pin breaks at some point. I have seen some people push them into touring mode then reach down and pull the lever up to...
Fred Bernard with Peak Powder. Awesome guy.
I used the same jig to mount the black ones as i did with the white ones.
I would say its easier... Easy, imo, would be like a regular alpine binder.
BD Zone pants.
Hey thom,
I have only ever used plum guides and vipecs. Sorry.
I have skied the original vipecs and did not like them. The din was directly connected to the toe wings and when you crank,ed up the din the wings moved in making it a bitch to get in.
I now have...
I did grow up ski racing and am fairly fit so I dont tire quickly and I like the added stability on big open terrain. That said I do like trees as I grew up in VT and these 185's are a treat ...
FWIW I am 5'9'' / 145lbs and ski the 185 from 2013/2014 (blue with red bull). I find it too short. Saying its actually 183cm is a compliment...more like 181cm. With the new generation I would...
Kick ass! Where is this?!?!
Irony: a country which is overwhelmed with tens of millions of 10mpg trucks/suv's gets a hair across its ass about a few (482,000 vs millions of trucks/suv's) high mpg euro diesels.
I have a pair of the schoeller/windstopper BD pants with the Pieps pocket and like them for this reason. I like suspenders as well and there are less straps to get in the way. No problems with...
I use a BD Alpine Start Hoody. Packs up small, breathes reasonably well, and has nanosphere coating so it sheds light rain well enough. If you are planning high alpine then maybe a pack able Goretex...
If you are going to Murren its worth looking into doing some via ferrata as it is exceptional there. If that is too wild for you just ride the old cog train from lauterbrunnen to wengen and up to...
Hmmm...i like fit chicks, but thats over doing it in my book.
As far as I know they are not for sale yet. Don't think any euro shops will be getting any this year if so they likely won't be for sale. I got em direct :)

Here you go. The other ski was within a few grams. Putting vipecs on them this week. I've skied a few carbon skis (made a pair myself as well) and wouldn't ever consider a ski this light...
Super comps are nice spokes and worth some $. Good luck with the sale.
What spokes? Those are nice hubs but can be had off chain reaction for about 300$ ish for a pair. Plus 150$ ish for a pair of Stan's rims....comes down to the spokes I'd say.
Ya don't ask me I don't design the stuff. Lost equipment comes to mind for sure....
Next years BD carbon skis are all white just like the binding. Other than the graphics the build quality seems to be top notch and they are super light.
Is is snowing in verb right now? Might be...
Ya I know. All I am saying is that when we mounted them we used the demo plate which lifts the binder up off the ski. Didn't know if what you saw in verb was a pair with demo plates or not.
I don't...
Nah the fritchi rep came up to Basel as well to deliver a few of those :)
Were they on BD skis? The BD reps all have those on their demo boards and they are all with demo plates under them.
That was a great read thanks! Well written and worth the time. Good laugh for sure.
I have an on / off road bike in the stable that has a Small Block 8 on the front and a vulpine out back. Seems to roll pretty well at higher psi but can drop it down if it gets rough and they do...
Bummer you didn't get the Cunningham, but at least you had some fun. Also, I can imagine the hard pack was scary with the condition your board is in...yikes!!! You really need to get a tune !
Hey Arash thanks again for yesterday. Cosmiques has always been one I've wanted to ski and it was prime yesterday and para face was deeeeep!!!
How'd it go on the passerelle to west today?
Ok obviously a poor choice of words on my part. I sometimes forget tgr is full of prepubescent teens alternating between their favorite websites: youporn, YouTube and tgr...
Who's in Cham this coming weekend? I'm coming down from der Schweiz to pop my Cham cherry and should be able to ski 3 or 4 days. Not sure where I am staying yet but would like to hook up with some...
Philth when you say hottest I hope you mean successful as I can think of a few others that are better looking than her...that that I'd kick her outta the bed just saying.
I'd be willing to bet many pow skis don't have wood that runs into the tips and tails. It's likely they just use plastic spacer. Definitely interested to hear the results as I'd love to chop the...
Check ebay for heated motorcycle gloves? I thought I saw some reasonably priced ones when I looked last.
Whiteroom: when I lived in that area I raced in this series http://www.masuperseries.com/ it's grown and changed since I left but it might be a good alternative to mix it up. Sorry no help with...
Atomic, with the Redster anyway, is going in the opposite direction. I can see for touring it might be better, but not for skiin hard. The atomics are between 16-18 degrees iirc. I tried on some WC...
Wow what's this talk of 300 bucks for a pair of gloves? You are either nuts or a dentist...I'm not a big kinkos fan, but I did get a pair of carhartt goretex gloves a few years ago for 30 bones and...
