I've got a snow pulse and during my test inflatuons don't notice an issue with visibility. Might be affected a bit as a boarder but really in a slide situation I don't think it will matter. No issues...

Go with fit first and foremost. When I bought my quadrants they fit me the best. I really really really wanted the maestrale but I couldn't get my toes in the toe box unless the rest of my foot swam...

I think the biggest change was the liners. I don't know if the new ones are really much better so I'd say safe the $350 and eventually plan to upgrade the lines to intuitions or something.

I've got a wide and fairly volumous foot and wanted the maestrale but I couldn't even get my foot in it.

I just got some john deers this year, only a couple days on them. I tried a few different boots with the Maestrale RS at the top of my list. I just couldn't fit in this Scarpa, extremely tight toe...

Love mine but like atrain said a more subdued non logo (or minimal logo) would rock. I fly a lot and like not taking my belt off but I prefer something less sporty for my flying attire.
