They're not too much ski for the binding, but whether they're too much ski for touring depends on how big/strong you are.

I'm way smaller and lighter and wouldn't go any shorter than 184 for anything but serious mountaineering.

Today was the last one. It was pretty clear that we were to be hosed today at about 11 last night. That place is a blast.
