I do love DPS, so yesterday I ordered a pair of old W95 pures (flex 2) they had lying around. Gonna ski 'em and consider chopping off...

What I do--
Winter: 1.5L nalgene
Summer: 1L nalgene; add snow to taste throughout the day.
I store inside the pack, in the main pouch with everything else, and drink every 1-1.5 hr at a standing...

Ok, now I'm intrigued. Will try to get my hands on a pair near Seattle.

My problem is boots that can't keep up with the limits of the skis and bindings, not the other way around. Color me a dynafit beast and franken-touring-boot...

I called Volkl customer service to double check yesterday, and was told just over 4 lbs per ski, flat. They weren't sure which length that refers to. The Mantra in a 170 (same ski, thicker base)...
