Last weekend was indeed so good. Best weekend of the season for me by far. Wish I could go tomorrow.

Crystal has high (relatively) north facing for cold snow, and nice SE facing terrain for potential corn/slush fest. Odds are you’ll find fun snow somewhere.

Alpental’s rad too, I just don’t know...

Private powder mountain was pretty darn fun after the lifts started spinning again.

The point forecast snow totals for top of mt baker far exceed those for shuksan, thereby giving the ski area much more hype and cred.

I don’t care how you describe the boundary, just don’t include areas that are beyond avalanche mitigation in a recommendation for avy controlled areas to ski.

Nice to see the Stockli love. The 2015 SR95s were my everyday ski for years in the PNW, one of my favorite skis ever, and still the gold standard that all others get compared to. I skied them...

Between nose and forehead is the target at her age IMO. She was on 130s last year, 140s still reach above her head. These hit her just above the brow. She’s a pretty strong 8 yr old skier.

Just found the Rossi hero multi event from a couple years ago on corbetts for a nice price. It appears to be the same ski as this years. Trigger pulled, will report back.
