to answer your question- yes you could get a flt into Idaho Falls or SLC and drive. SLC is a 5 hour drive in good weather and IF is 1H 45 min in good weather. Most likely from SLC you'll be on open...

The king is skiing well too- took some afternoon runs yesterday and it was delightful.
