Santa Catarina is just up the road from Bormio, higher and dominantly north facing. Some touring options from the lifts and great touring at the end of the road out of the Forni hut.

"Let's ski this steep powder run at the same time so we can get good footage" is not what I'd call a sustainable way to have a long backcountry ski career.
