I think what happened was he got out there and then sharted due to the exposure. I didn't even bring my bike up there so I wouldn't be tempted into riding it.

Started at 8am Saturday and finished around 4pm on Monday. About 34 hrs moving time, far cry from a race pace but not a super slow touring pace either.
