Wont be the first or the last time I'll have to make a trip to Vermont from Utah for some high quality powder skiing.

Good skiing yesterday evening and this morning up in Twin Lakes Pass and lower Wolvy. Some general cracking and whumping, but not on the ridgeline for me, mostly down in the flats around Twin Lakes....

I booked a ticket to head east to go skiing next week. That should do it.

Those telemark skiers will do anything to lock their heals down.

Seconded, it was a lot less touchy when we went out Wednesday morning then it was over the weekend. I'd wager it's going to take more then 1 big storm to wipe this out.

New snow skied well, a touch sticky, and had a greenhouse crust at 6pm this evening. Almost an inch of moisture for what accounted for only 4-5 inches of snow above 9500 feet.

Really excellent work. Great short movie. Strong work with the 10-22.

Conditions were certainly tolerable. As others have reported some new snow surface instabilities. Moves quickly once it's moving.
