It also depends a lot on what you said to the cop when he pulled you over. Did you say or do anything to admit to guilt? (aka: did you apologize? admit to speeding? Say "but it wasn't my fault" etc.....

Well, I went to Michigan and it was great. Ann Arbor was indeed a huge upgrade from the suburban dumps of my formative years.
