wow, nice rig
if its a similar shell, and shape and size then yes it can be switched (we have pros moving from a 24 doberman 130 to a new 24 doberman 130 and its fine) but that will still fit, but not perfect...
damn: I would love to do this. but can't take a week off

Candy 11 pedals for sale. yes the 250 gram ones, and in GOLD
Retail is a whopping $500, so what about $200 for this used set? Bearing spin well, no play in pedal, etc. Just prefer a egg...
been biking in invermere for a few days. Winter coming back on Wed. (winter #4?)
if the new shell feels OK with old liner, then it should feel OK with new liner once its packed out. Go ski it and see. (try no foot bed at all, and if that feels a bit loose, add one)
FYI: ...
Please try old liner + new shell and report back
also try new liner + new shell - any footbed and report back
what boot (brand, model and size) where you on, and what did you buy?
how does the new shell feel with the old liner?
Odds are you are fine and just need to go ski it (or heat mold it)
Thanks for the PP heads up
boot fitting stuff? can you PM me?
damn
the heli op doesn't have skis you can use?
depending on conditions, just swap out and use what they have (unless you already HAVE something)
4 small to medium ski areas "near" you.
Snowking, Purden, hudson and Troll. (I think)
fun mnt biking in the area.
no real time in the town, but seems like a bit of a shit hole.
50-100 days on a liner. 200-300 on a shell (keep adding intuitions etc and keep it going)
By my math you have 200 days on current and 300+ in the closet at so you have a 5 year back up right...
thank you
So this is just day #1?
try shorter days and odds are its just a tight liner, Few more days (touring or skiing) nad you will be fine
1) yes, or at least close
2) start with trying and see what helps
a) custom footbed (supportive)
b) flat footbed (same volume inside the boot, but no support)
c) no footbed (more...
I'm in banff if you need a day drop location etc

Anyone looking for a bike, mine is for sale, with LOTS of new parts and LOTS of upgrades.
Selling my large 2020 rocky instinct c70 (with some upgrades,...
$600 US plus shipping from banff ($30 ish)
Removed from a new bike, never ridden,
$1300 CDN, or $900 US, this is new and priced WAY below that.
Fork was on a large bike, 19.5cm steer tube.
...
all parts, its an overall volume thing, NOT just a width thing
sure: try foam on top of liner as needed. 1-2mm should be ok
Can you use a 1/2 footbed under the custom?
Short enough not to bug the instep, but long enough to support the mets?
or try adding padding to the liner, in the same way?
Usually stick on footbed and re-cover with cambrell to make a smooth entry point still.
Or spot heat the footbed and push up from the bottom to make a lump without adding anything.
nice bike
Its like combining matter and anti-matter. You tear a whole in the space, ski time fabric and we all go back to skiing in SX92 boots....
nothing. MV liners MIGHT be a micro bit thicker
...
A few bits of vintage patagonia clothing and based on ebay sold search values seem to be all over the place.
Any guess on best place to sell this stuff to a collector nerd?
Does the pressure happen in the shop/when not skiing?
Are the upper cuffs removeable? Have them wear the shell lowers, liners, footbeds, and see if it happens?
What is the ankle range of...
1) a vauge marketing number. Depends on the shape of the rear cuff on the inside. That is NOT a straight line, so not sure if all brands will measure below, or above the anlkle. or some combo of...
also sometimes worth looking on corbettes web site and ASO on ebay

I would like to feel and try the grips, but at the price (and not having numbness) its an expensive demo..

looks like everyone got 50-100 from this. Marmot, bow valley, pano, castle, etc
I THINK if you have SSV pass or card you get a deal. Also watch that they are SELLING tickets. Some busy covid days they would cap numbers.
a custom footbed might help some more to prevent your foot from splaying out on landing
and stop sucking at skiing
usually the warranty is send in a pic of the problem and they issue credit for online store.
do you want mag or non-mag version?
Also if frame is failing, smith has a good warranty policy. (like silly good usually)
