Total WA newbie here. Between Crystal and Alpental (or other Snoqualmie resort) is Crystal a no brainer? I guess the only downside is it's an hour further from Seattle but maybe that's a small price...

Great pictures. I remember skiing it in similar conditions during 1997/98 season. The day was absolutely crystal clear and we could see all the way to San Clemente, easily, from the top of chair 3.

Not a smart thing to do; especially over the internet.

Skied Kirkwood today until noon. Not as good as yesterday but still nice with some soft snow in little nooks and crannies throughout. Got warm so I suspect things will firm up. XC skied all afternoon...
