I have both 112's and carbon GPO's, the GPO's handle crud way better than the 112's.

I think the the Concepts and GPO's compliment each other... even though I do have massive overlap in that size... Rocker 2 108's, RP112's, AKJJ's, New Lifes. Something is going to have to go......

A seemingly very polarizing ski due to where you mount it... but the Surface One Life has that porpoising ability.

My carbon 192's came in at 9.8lbs.

Sounds like a great two ski quiver! A testament to how versatile those skis are.

I haven't had much time on my GPO's, but for me:
Stability GPO>Concepts
Crud GPO>Concepts
Float GPO>Concepts
Trees Concepts>GPO
Hardpack Concepts slight edge on the GPO's...

Took the GPO's out for the first time today. I've got the carbon 192's in a medium stiff flex. It wasn't the ideal conditions to test them out because of the high temps but they feel more stable...

Any chance that you'll make a slightly longer version..like 190ish?

I find most of my mounts compared to the recommended mount point that Keith recommends is usually about 1cm back... it's all about personal preference and how neutral you ski.

I'm surprised OR gloves haven't been mentioned... I have the Arcteryx Alpha gloves, my hands get cold in them. The OR Alti gloves are the best 5 finger gloves I have found but they are bulky... OR...

I considered the Norwalk... I have AKJJ's which I actually love, but anything less flex wise for me would be too soft. My Majic J's were supposed to be stiffer according to their website and are not...

It's a great ski, earlyups and exoticskis have some good reviews on them.

Maybe a little more pop in the carbon version... to tell you the truth, if you blindfolded me and they both had the same bindings on them I probably couldn't figure out which was which.

I have the wailer 112's(hybrid) and Praxis Concepts... the Concepts by a nose hair. I had the JJ's.. way to short for me, 6'1" 175-185. 112's float better, Concepts better in crud and a bit more...

I'll take them for $300, I won't be back in SLC for about a week though. Let me know one way or another.

The black Concepts are considerably softer, too soft for me. The regular top sheet is the perfect flex for me and is my favorite ski.

+1 was good... just didn't work as well as my Praxis Concepts, except they were better in pow. If I did it over again, I would mount them at +1.5...I like a more neutral stance lately.

I've had the powder rx's and I now have the concepts, I can't think of a condition that I would not pick the concepts over the rx's.

I agree with whyturn, I have an awd Passat. I've seen plenty of cars get turned back by the sherriff, it would blow having to go back down put chains on and wait for ever to get up the mountain... ...

I have both of mine mounted on the sidewall mark, which was perfect for me. No tip dive issues at all. I wouldn't want to deviate much from that mark because of the way the ski is designed...

I have two pairs of Concepts... one with the crazy topsheet w/dynafits and one with the blacked out topsheet with dukies. It's easily the best all around ski I've ever been on and that's saying alot...

Get rid of your two skinny skis, you won't need them. Since your getting a good deal buy the Kiss of Death and the Bonshaker.

I just picked up some new 195 JJ's a few days ago... I'm psyched to get on them this season!
