If you are looking at a touring ski, I would check Movemnt Bond. They come in a 177, and a 184 size. I am 6' 85kg and skiing the 177, but the 184 would be better for the terrain you are describing...

I think it is all up to a definition of what ripping is. Sure, I can rip these and (to a lesser extent the coombas*) - but alpine equipment allow me to use more power, and to use it more efficiently....

I am currently 86 kg. X-racer, 184cm.
I also have a very bad back these days, so my skiing was very passive and controlled in an easy slope - artificial snow...

The tlt5 is a lot slimmer at the calves than then zzero. I would think the zzero has a bigger toe box - but I am comparing well used to not used....

Got mine today. The fit is perfect for me, so they feel plenty stiff - but hard to tell in the living room. Hope to be able to ski them soon....

You could go for something like Conti 4x4 IceContact. Anyhow you should opt for spicked tires: it takes a lot of friction to stop heavy cars.

I am about 50% heavier than you, but the zzero4 is stiff enough - even with the original thong. (I've got last years thong, which seems softer than the older ones - got new shells after a sole break...
