We went up to Diamond this past weekend.
Had to clear the road on the way up:
We topped out at 10,600' and skied to the base of meadows (5,200' I think), so it was over 5,000 ft.
There's a nice bootpack in now.

We went to Bachelor today since the nice weather has returned.
The new snow was pretty thick, but we had fun in the Cirque Bowl and went back for second helpings

We took advantage of the good weather on Monday (5/20) and enjoyed skiing the NE and SE bowls of Mt. Scott.
We were able to drive up about as far as possible

Between Oakridge and Bend, there's Waldo Lake. It's a nice ride cross-country if you go around the lake and the water is super clear. Very cold water, but refreshing. Nice campsites too.
When I saw her at the Eugene Hilton in 1999, I was able to stand about ten feet away from her while she sang. Hubba hubba. She could have stalked me as much as she wanted to.
