A little too early, dude. Van Sickle can be shuttled; only a couple of snow patches.

A lot of tele wankers complain of something not feeling right when they go from soft boots/ less active bindings to a stiffer/active set-up. You'll get used to it or better yet get some switchbacks.

The same thing happened with my Lhasa's and Pat gave me a new pair no questions asked. (BTW, I don't carry any tgr cred.) But I also think it was a manufacturing defect.

Did you play around with the activity setting? It should ski about the same as your HH's at the same activity setting.

I bought a pair of skis that came with these and curious what they're worth as I'd rather mount some dukes on them. Probably 10 days on them.

When they say "Available for shipping - 5 days", it really means they don't have the bindings in stock and have no idea when they'll get them, if ever. Order from them only if they have the stuff in...

So I presume the non-STH and STH brakes are interchangeable?

The all black version. Used only a couple of days and in great condition - no slop. Brakes bent to 130mm by myself and did a nice job. Plus shipping from Tahoe.

If cost is your main objective then pre-fabs are actually cheaper.

I built my own and the materials cost alone was about the same as a similarly sized pre-fab. But I used quite a bit more lumber...

You can leave either the toe or heel the same and move the binding fore/aft 1cm.

I have some 120mm like new brakes I'd trade for your 100mm ones.

Or I can buy yours outright.

I'd consider some 80 or 90mm if the price is right - I can bend them.

You're not using an old pair of Scarpa TX's are you? They had a manufacture's defect where the front clamps wouldn't engage completely.

Black Diamond Factor 26.5. Extra plastic tongue and Booster straps to stiffen things up. Punched out for 6th toe. Lots of use but still very serviceable. $170 shipped.

You know anyone with an oxy-acetylene torch? Use a small tip and aim the flame away from any plastic and it'll bend easily. I've never tried a MAPP torch but I'd assume it will work as well.
