I used an old ski pole that was cut in two to stretch the Rossi brakes. You are talking about a pretty extreme size difference. I don't know if that is the best idea.

If they are like the Mojo 15s then you should be pretty happy. I made the switch from Rossi/Look to the Mojo last year and haven't regretted it.

Sram is tough to beat. I weigh around 200 too. I just tried the shimano XTR chain and broke 2 chains. I never had any trouble with the Sram. I have had both 991 and 971.
