I'm actually looking for info on racks that will swing away from the vehicle, not just tilt down. Thule and Yak are the only manufacturers I've seen who sell that type of rack.

Unfortunately, the platform racks don't have the swing away option, which is important to me.

So far, I've only had hanging racks, and they've been perfectly fine for my needs.

I'm looking for a swing-out style hitch rack, and these two are looking good:

Fuck, skiing was so much cooler forty years ago.

^ SAR at Luther was nothing major. Snowmobiler got lost. Sun went down. Called out in the middle of the night, they found him a mile from the road and guided him out.
