There shouldnt be any mesh, neither in the small hip or thigh pockets.
At least all the pants I have seen are normal fabric+fabric layout.

Ok! It actually answers couple of questions. Have to check out the aviability, price and fit of the glove.
That they actually are waterproof, well, that is the dealbreaker for me.

So, I have a pair of 4 year old Hestra Guide XCR gloves.
They are ok, dexterous as fuck, but they lack in their critical part...they are as far as fucking waterproof as they can be.
Have had a old manfrotto 055 hexa plate for what, 15 years or so.
Still kicking strong, even after all the possible abuse it has been thrown at.
Serviced it exactly 0 times.

1. Norrona Lofoten pants dont have a "bib" pocket per se.
The smaller upper pocket barely fits a point and shoot camera or a iPhone 4G.
