Well done Fritz. Never Summers look great.
Sorry man. Condolences.
That is just stupid and looks fun. Thanks!
RIP Treepilot. Lost a good one. Condolences to his friends and family.
Not good at all. Lots of movement the last few days.
Here are some pics I pulled off my camera.

Looked to be around Nitro where they triggered. That is a line I haven't ridden there so I am not 100% sure but think that is where it was. Crown at the top where all the wind loading is was pretty...
Vibes. Horrible news.
Here is a picture I took of him last year. He was using skis as he had trashed his split. Wasn't quite as secure on skis as he is on a board. Dude had one of the most hilarious crashes I have seen...
This link was posted in the Berthoud thread. Georgio was the victim.

He is a really good guy. I am for the better...
I still can't believe it was George. I was hoping to get a few days in with him on the pass this month. Had a couple great outings with him last spring. RIP brother.
CAIC does a pretty solid job, but I do agree the Moderate rating the past few days seemed to be missing the mark with all the activity. It was all out there though.
Completely crappy way to end the year.
RIP
If I have it ready to deploy then yes I have the thong on.
The sit snowboard they made for their paralyzed friend is the best one imo. They brought some stoke with that one.
Well done!
Wish I had of known you were headed up this morning. I was up there yesterday, did No Name, and Russell before it got too warm. Saw a nice cornice collapse in No Name Cirque on Saturday. It was...
Castlewood Canyon also has a lot of easy to set up top ropes close to Denver. The Dungeon comes to mind as a decent spot for you. Climbs are short though.
It looks like less than 20ft and there would be at least 3 total survivors. That one is eating at me too. Very close to being out of harm's way.
As far as not being out that day? The terrain...
It's been a rough few days. RIP Cab.
The SAR Cards that you can buy at REI (and other places) put you in a registry that is SAR has to come out an help your ass they will get money from the fund at the end of the year. I believe that...
The 90's below the Aqueduct has slid to the ground almost wall to wall. Lots of whumpfing yesterday. Great conditions to practice you squiggle turns. As everyone else has said, stuff is sketchy...
Thanks Joel. This answered a few questions I had about this.
That is definitely one of the better early season spots. Surprised there is that much snow back there already. Nice work.
Well that was legit. Well done!
That is pretty damn funny.
Go get some!
Pretty sure the on snow is going to be February 2013.
Nice work Tom. Way to knock off a couple of classic lines in a day.
Huge, huge loss.
RIP Sarah.
This really sucks.
RIP Jamie.
E-Tards will be E-Tards...
Dang! Looking forward to more webisodes of that stuff.
Just bringing this back to the front page. Plus this is going to be a good time.

Nice Joel! Knocking off Baker. Talk about a huge day.
It was super sketch in the alpine yesterday. I kicked off a slide at the top of the North Chute on Grizzly yesterday. Top 10-20" was just wind slabbed enough to be a problem. Booted back up the...
Make sure to post a video of it.
Spotter?
Good stuff Joel! PNW up next...
Well done! Congrats!
As I said, looks way better than my day at work. Nice work.
That is pretty crazy. Though why was he skiing in the couloir when the dog was still running down it? Seems to me that you need to follow the same protocols as you would with a person skiing it...
Good stuff!
You're a fucker too then...
Definitely good times. And thanks Dobish. I appreciated your efforts from last night this morning. Fucker...
It's impact damage. Which is not covered under any warranty I know of. Looks like you hit the sweet spot right in front of your bindings. Sucks.
I would still contact Voile about it though. ...
Very nice! Strong work guys!
