Uhm, holes compromise the integrity of the ski. So, it does matter.

But to answer the OP, 1 set of holes won't kill ya. But fill them with epoxy so that water does not get into the core.

Agreed. The sensor mirror is great for flatlight conditions, but I usually end up using it most days (except bluebird).

I have the 06/07 ARV (the graphic is a noodle) and they are WICKED soft. Very fun, playful...but I can't charge on them for the life of me. They're too choppy

I'm 5'7", 150 lbs on a good day, and I use 175 ARVs as my park ski. You'll be fine.
