CA - can you compare the EHP with the Boomerang? I've got a line on a pair of brand new EHPs (my favourite ski ever - already have two pairs) but at $179 the Boomerang is looking pretty good.

Agreed - but I'd like to get the bindings mounted ASAP, so I reckon having the shop drill the holes is the quickest/easiest way this time around.

Can anyone confirm that the hole pattern for the Salomon S900 Equipe is the same as the current STH 14 Driver? I want to mount some S900's but since I hear they're off the indemnified list, no shop...

I think you hit the nail on the head. Although, it used to be that the 15+ DIN bindings weren't as widely available, so aggressive skiers were often on the 14 DIN bindings - the 957/997/S900...

Count me in the same camp - I'd love for Salomon to re-release the all-metal worm-screw 14 DIN bindings. How hard can it be for them to put a lighter spring into the 916 Steel housing?

Unfortunately, count me out. My Alta/Snowbird trip has been transformed into a Red Mountain/Whitewater/Revelstoke trip. Oh well - maybe next year.

Like the thread title says, last year's EHP, 193 cm. Edges and bases are totally pristine, topsheets are barely scuffed. Mounted once for a Salomon STH 14 Driver, 285 mm BSL - binding not included....

No difference in boot sole length.
