From the looks of your quiver I don't think you'll be happy with a 187.

Ya, I hear that, just wondering if I need something that would have less swing-weight in the trees, but since the ski will be primarily used for slackcountry yo-yo'ing and mini-golf sessions behind the 'Can' I guess I will be OK.
should mention, I'm 5'11, 175#. Level 3++ ultra agrrrresive ex-racer.
Plus, short skis are for pussies:biggrin:
Is there any chance to get the old (2010 i think) pow board mammoth graphics for the topsheets?
I know that you said "current praxis topsheets" but i just wanted to ask anyway.
thanks in advance
You can ask but since he won't have them ordered for other skis, it may cause a hold up. He's trying to get something lined up right now that would enable him to print his own topsheets. If that happens I don't see why not.......but he's got to get the equipment first.
*fingers crossed*
awesome. will buy.
Just unboxed a pair of 189 RX's with the BPS graphic.
FKNA I'm stoked with these! Praxis really needs to put real pictures of their skis on the site. Can't even describe how much better they look in person after seeing a couple pairs already this year.
BPS tops FTW! Best looking graphics I've ever seen. Really vibrant in person.
Yeah true, the website really seems to be the only thing not awesome about praxis^^
totally stoked about these sticks!
Munichskier. I cant PM you because of your post count but I live in IBK/SBG and am ordering a pair was wondering if you want to save on shipping. And other things but wont want to post things for the bad tax man to find.....
sqigunst: contacted you (brb).
kidwoo: please keep us updated with the topsheets! keep up the great efforts!

Munichskier you got an email, probs the best way to contact/sort out some details.
Sorry for the thread jack!!
Sure I'll reply...
Thanks man. I'm trying to avoid him getting a barrage of emails from different people asking the same questions.
Graphics are printed on topsheet material.
Same thing to a degree........which VC already answered. And trust me, he knows.
Ok, so Woo's done begun to polish up and tell this little tale. Cool to spread the word about this particular project and about Keith and Praxis, too.
Protesting the Backcountry: Building a Better Backcountry Ski
(He really wanted the word Protest somewhere in the title, because, "It'll piss off some dude who owns a lot of spandex and patagonia shit into reading the article.")

mcconkey* one k
nicely done.
Small f'ing world. Gave ride today to some random guy off Craigslist on my way back to Bay Area from Tahoe. Start talking skis. Some mountain bike friend of his named Woo called him and told him to buy these new Praxis skis he convinced Keith to make.
excellent article on blister. loving it
I saw the Hoji today and I'm thinking it is pretty similar to what we are putting together here, depending on how our taper turns out...
