armada ARV 175, no bindings: 1820 g each ski (3640 the pair), which sounds like 1,057 g / m
haha, PM gear Bro 179 only comes in a soft and super soft eh?
those are the only weights i seem to have found
ive got a pair of the super softs so I threw them on my scale
they are not sold as they are really soft and really a "blem" or "second" or whatever you want to call it
Id imagine the 179 stiff is right around 4 to 4.2lbs a pair given the data listed
oh nevermind, I thought it was a joke about the actual flex of the 179 stiffs
Just threw the new 188 Stiffs on a scale (bigger edges and thicker base) and came up with 4lbs 14oz. No top sheet, but that can't be too much.
Edit 4 - Each
They are SO heavy alone, and with so-so Salomon bindings on them - one ski pair that is even heavier is a 180cm Atomic Powder Plus, but the Plus is such a wider ski (135/115/125) that the Chubb (110/90/100) gives away so much surface area...
I purchased some 182cm Line Motherships about two or three seasons ago, and they were much lighter with the middle-of-the-road Salomon bindings (912 Ti). I wished I could have a longer length (typical twin-tips) or a 190cm Karhu Jak, which doesn't have an equal tail twin-tip.
But one thing the old Chubbs do decent - they go through crud, corn, slush, and Sierra Cement like a trooper. Although, my shoulders ache when hoisting them up from the parking lot or stairs.
Anyone got weights for 05ish Big Daddies or Volkl Sanouks?
Funny, I was just going to post this anyway....sanouks (06-07) weigh in at 4160 per pair.
Atomic 07/08 Nomad Crimson's, 176cm c/w Neox 412's = 6382g the pair
06/07 Line Chronic Blend 179 cm: 1895 gr per flat ski.
As sorry as I am to have to say this, the Kingswood Arrowsmith is Not a 198cm version of the Megafat at 146mm waist, its a long version of the Midfat/Archetype at 104mm:( It was a typo on the KW website that listed the Megafat dimensions under the Arrowsmith.
I really think they need to make a 193ish Megafat though...
Haha, according to the list I have the most base surface area of you all!!
Couple of binding weights I took on nice scale. Weight in grams/half pair.
