The FP160 is the worlds first skid-steer mounted processor that, when attached to just about any skid steer loader with at least 20gpm auxiliary hydraulic flow, can pickup a log, move it to a pile, conveyor, or truck, cut it to 16 lengths and split the blocks into firewood. All functions are performed from the seat of the skid-steer loader so only one man and one machine is required to do the job that normally takes 2 to 3 people and a couple of pieces of equipment.
The processor features a high performance hydraulic chainsaw utilizing a high-speed, high pressure piston motor and an 18H harvester bar and .404H harvester chain. The infeed system uses a hydraulically powered conveyor chain and an aggressive spike roller. The splitter utilizes a 4 x 18 cylinder and incorporates a unique regeneration circuit to provide a quick-split feature to increase productivity in small wood. All valves are mounted on the processor and all functions are controlled by push buttons which are mounted on the skid steer loaders joysticks and connected to the processor by means of an easily detached cable.
Hahn Machinery has been manufacturing heavy duty logging machinery for more than years and, with the new FP160 Rapid-Fire fuelwood processor, continues the tradition of producing simple, rugged, cost effective machinery for the forest products industry.
that thing is awesome. not that i need one, but it would be fun to have and use.

I watched it this morning and have sent it around to everyone I know who would care. I agree, it's fascinating, especially if you've cut a lot of firewood in your life.

Say you drop a 36" lodgepole. The 36" logs would be split the same as the 12" parts into 1/6. Wouldn't some be too big and some be way too small?

I think you're going to need a larger firewood processor for that.

Yahoo....drink a beer and split wood at the same time, I bet you can adjust for longer split wood as well :D:D:D

That looks awesome. Esp with how big and cumbersome many other processors are. Probably takes a lot of maintenance. Nobody has a price up for it I'm guessing 10k min. The skid steer platform is great because its something a lot of mills and loggers already have.

need a good sized skid steer as machine weight 2000lbs plus log . The S300 in video has a 3000lb capacity. Most of the bobcats you see are around 1500-2000 capacity.
but very neat as I have about 2 weeks work for that thing full out.
