Just finished 8 episodes of some classic reality TV style garbage!
As expected, there's a lot of core surfers that probably aren't too stoked on it.
I personally think that if you don't partially hate yourself after watching any reality TV show, it's probably not a very good one.

I'm headed down to Central America soon, and am considering picking up a surf hat for the trip. Anyone have any advice or experiences with them? Either full brim or the baseball cap style? I'll be in the water a lot, and don't want to have to deal with sun screen every hour.

So I am headed out to San Diego for a few days of surfing this weekend and my buddy who lives out there recommended this podcast. I watched several last night and I gotta say this guy does a great job explaining stuff ...mainly via whiteboard and then they'll cut away to examples.

Hi fellow waveriders. Winter is officially over and I have just started paddle training again.

Can you guys tell this kook whether it is possible to do a banyaks trip semi cheap or landbased? I'd like some empty line ups and this is the best Indo I can get in the high season. And I'm not adventurous enough to travel to SW Madagascar for empty line ups. (and i don't like sharks...). SO Banyaks it is.
And no, unfortunately I have to go late july/early sep thigh season.
