Anyway, girlfriend got an incredible offer outside of Boston, so looks like we're moving to MA this summer. As such, I'm now on the hunt for openings in the Greater Boston/Northeastern MA/Southern NH area.

I'm a mechanical/project engineer with ~3 years experience at a small engineering consultuancy. I'm the lead engineer for all analysis work (FEA, CFD, etc) with Solidworks Simulation. I also do a lot of project-based work, ie-sizing pumps/motors/valves/etc for custom equipment we build, engineering calculations, etc. I have some experience with CNC milling, wood/plastic/metal/composite fabrication, rapid prototyping and basic controls (Wago PLC's, Red Lion Data Stations, Eurotherm PID controllers).

I'm interested in:
FEA/CFD/CAE
Defense/Aerospace
Renewables
Outdoors/Ski/Lifestyle
Short-run, prototype or precision manufacturing and machining
Automation - short on programming experience, but this is an area I'm really interested in.

The US subsidiary of Mountain Equipment is looking for someone administratively minded to help with invoicing, inventory management, simple bookkeeping and customer service.

Pay will be starting in the neighborhood of 30K a year DOE, plus paid time off, powder mornings when it's dumping at Stevens Pass, generous gear allowance. You also get to work for a small, but rapidly growing company that will allow for lots of autonomy and independence.

Candidates should be detail oriented, possess a high level of computer literacy and have at least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, inventory management, order entry, shipping or other applicable administrative experience. A local upstart has produced an accessory to the smart phone, iPad & tablet case market - both hard & soft cases. We are working towards getting the working models in front of the right audience and so, we are working multiple approaches.

That said, if anyone can offer up a contact for any of the following - it would be most appreciated. Pretty much all of these companies do not have a 'general public' option of getting their attention and strictly focus on internal & industry-specific ways of contacting them (industry product development teams, CES, etc).

I'm looking to get in touch with someone who works for the Natural Resources Conservation Service out in Bozeman, preferably someone who might have some say in the hiring process. This is a bit of a "dream job" for me at this point, as it is a part of the snow hydrology program, which is something that I studied a bit in undergrad and am hoping to go to grad school for at some point in the future.
