I'm in the bay area on a last minute business trip, but had the foresight (crazy idea?) to bring all my ski mountaineering gear. Anyone with experience wanna go ski something sick in Tioga this weekend? The road is opening Saturday. I can drive/pick you up.

I'm from Boston area and do most of my skiing on Mt.Washington in the Whites. I have several years experience back east, crampons, Avy gear + training, a whippet, some skins and a desire to shred some corn. Anyone down?

My daughter is interviewing for an internship with Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. As a result, I am looking for lodging recommendations or, better yet, a Maggot/Maggette with a room to rent for 2-3 months. I don't have exact dates, but I'm guessing mid-May through late July. While I'm asking for the world, something with access to mass transit would be nice since she may not have a car of her own.

Any help you might offer is greatly appreciated.

Anyways, renting out a room in my 3 bed 2 bath apt in Medford, MA. Place is 1 mile from Malden T Stop and .5 miles from the Middlesex Fells. It's the third floor of a three family that was gutted in 07'. The place is nice, granite, hardwood floors, central air, living room and kitchen is furnished, decks. I'm going to have a house cleaner come in once or twice a month to do the heavy cleaning. Not a neatfreak, but if you're a slob, it ain't going to work. Lease would be month to month. Rent is $850 including all utilities, cable (HBO), and the house cleaner. If you are a mid-20's - 30's adult looking for nice place to live, this may be for you.

I am a University of Oregon student and am trying to get some spring snowboarding in. I am happy to help pay for gas. Let me know if anybody is heading up this weekend.
