never fished it, but i found this on google:
http://www.anglerguide.com/montana/georgetownlake.html
http://www.bigskyfishing.com/River-Fishing/SW-MT-Rivers/flint-creek/flint_creek_overview.htm

sounds like it might be fun, says its mostly brown trout and it is the brown trout time of year out here for sure.

we have a pretty good stream access law here. anything below high water is public land. two things though, first you have to access the river from a public right of way (generally a highway or county road bridge or a public fishing access site). second, if there is no way to stay below high water mark (say for instance an undercut bank) you can walk above the high water mark, but have to stay as close as possible to the bank.

it does look like there arent very many bridges, but the highway follows the creek pretty close, may be some places to get into the creek.
there is a link to a map on this page that may give you more ideas.

Flint Creek can be dynamite! Especially in the fall. Upper Rock Creek can fish well then too......the lake should be good for a while also. AND, if you are opposed, try the Anaconda Setting Ponds. Sounds scary, (looks scary too), but there are some monsters there.

The Clark Fork has been fishing decent as well.

flint creek is amazing. my great-aunt lives in p-burg and has alot of friends with alot of access there. however, public access can be a bitch. research first. it is DEFINITELY worth it!

If you're there in Winter, and it's pounding, hit the backside of Disco.

Yeah, since the weather is anybody's guess at the moment I am planning on fly rod and skis. That along with copious amounts of Jack Daniels should make for a fine weekend.

Ice fishing on the Lake with copious amounts of Jack is always fun.

Did I read right that Flint Creek runs into Clark Fork reservoir or did it say Clark Canyon reservoir? Me gusto mucho Clark Canyon reservoir.

And BTW...they'll be plenty of ice fishing on Strawberry this winter if we have another low snowpack in Utah...I surmise a little bit of 'Jack and alot of Pendleton "Let er Buck!"
